Agreement
By creating an account or using PoliData, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting credentials, and ensuring that invited teammates use PoliData under these Terms. Organization owners are responsible for workspace administration and ownership transfer before account deletion.
License
Subject to these Terms, PoliData grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during your subscription or trial. PoliData owns the service, software, design, and platform intellectual property. You retain ownership of your customer data.
Customer Data
You grant PoliData permission to host, process, transmit, display, and modify customer data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. We may use aggregated or de-identified usage data to improve PoliData.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use PoliData to violate law or third-party rights.
- Do not resell, scrape, or bulk-export the service outside documented workflows.
- Do not attack, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass platform limits.
- Do not use public-official data for harassment, spam, or unlawful profiling.
Availability and Data Accuracy
PoliData depends on public legislative sources and third-party systems. We work to keep the service reliable and accurate, but legislative data, summaries, classifications, and analytics are provided for research and monitoring and are not legal advice.
Termination
You may stop using PoliData at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, or unlawful use. Data export and deletion are available through Settings or by contacting privacy@getpolidata.com.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PoliData is provided as is and without implied warranties. PoliData is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
